Current contact forms and browser storage

Updated 21 September 2026. This section describes the current provider-matching and newsletter forms.

Provider matching is optional. If you submit the matching form and give explicit consent, your name, email address, telephone number and submitted matching details are shared with a participating provider so that it can contact you. The provider’s own privacy terms apply to its subsequent handling of your details. Incomplete forms are not sent as matching requests; typing into a field alone does not submit a request.

The newsletter is a separate subscription managed with Sendy. Your email is used for that subscription. Newsletter consent does not authorise provider contact, and a matching request does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

The matching interface uses sessionStorage in your browser to remember eligibility answers and whether you dismissed the automatic invitation during the current tab session. Those browser preferences are separate from a submitted contact request. The displayed form and its consent text explain the action before you submit.

Violations

If you think that any content on the Site breaches the Terms of Use, please contact the Site by sending an email to terms AT 2dots.com.

Licenses

To acknowledge your agreement with these Terms of Use, the Site allows you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, and revocable personal license to access and use the Site. You may use the material on the Site only for your personal and non-commercial use, and you are solely responsible for determining whether the use of any information obtained from the Site is permissible.

By engaging in any communication within the Site or posting any content, you grant the Site (or its assignees) a perpetual, irrevocable, and royalty-free right and license to use, modify, adapt, reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, create derivative works from, sublicense, transfer, and sell any such information.

Choice of Law and Forum

You agree that any disagreement arising from or connected to these Terms of Use or any content posted on the Site, including copies and republication of such content, will be controlled by the laws of the United States, excluding its conflict of law provisions. Additionally, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of and venue in the federal and state courts located in and serving Pennsylvania as the legal forum for any such disagreement.

If you believe that your copyrights are being infringed upon, the Site has established procedures to receive written notification of such claims and process them in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). To make a claim, please fill out the Notice of Infringement form below and send it to 2dots.

The Notice of Infringement must contain the following information, which substantially complies with the safe harbor provisions of the DMCA:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that Site.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, along with information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to locate the material.
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Notification from a copyright owner or authorized person that does not substantially comply with the provisions above will not be considered as providing actual knowledge or awareness of facts or circumstances indicating infringing activity. Please send a separate Notice of Infringement to 2dots each time you wish to report alleged acts of infringement.

Unauthorized Use

Using the Site without authorization in connection with sending unsolicited emails, including emails that violate this policy, may result in civil, criminal, or administrative penalties against the sender and anyone who helps the sender.

Indemnification

You agree to compensate and hold the Site and any Site-affiliated person or entity harmless from any claims, losses, or damages, including legal fees, resulting from your violation of these Terms of Use, your use of the Site, or your submission of any content to the Site. You also agree to fully cooperate in the Site’s or any Site-affiliated person’s or entity’s defense against any such claims.

Integration

These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you, the Site, and any Site-affiliated persons or entities regarding the subject matter and supersede any prior or contemporaneous oral or written agreements.
